FOR KIDS: Gratitude and Visualization Games - Strawberries
I am going to play the games that are suggested in the “Words of Wonder’ book. These are things I feel grateful for and would enjoy visualizing. When you play the game think of things you feel grateful for and would enjoy visualizing! The first two games are gratitude and visualization.
To warm up, do the following: Take 5 slow deep breaths and feel very calm and a little happy. Now I am ready to write down what I am grateful for and picture myself going through the day.
Gratitude for this week: Picking strawberries in the field with my family.
Visualization for this week: Strawberry season is here, and the fields we visit have just opened. We have plenty of cartons to fill. The farmer directs us to specific rows, and they're full of ripe strawberries! Many are large, but the smaller ones are just as delicious. I sit down, get comfortable, and start picking all the ripe strawberries I can find. By the end, we’ve filled all our cartons and head home to clean the strawberries.
