FOR PARENTS AND ADULTS: Gratitude and Visualization Games - Snow
I am going to play the games that are suggested in the “Words of Wonder’ book. These are things I feel grateful for and would enjoy visualizing. When you play the game think of things you feel grateful for and would enjoy visualizing! The first two games are gratitude and visualization.
To warm up, do the following: Take 5 slow deep breaths and feel very calm and a little happy. Now I am ready to write down what I am grateful for and picture myself going through the day.
Gratitude for this week: It is so pretty outside with fresh snowfall and the snowflakes are still in the air.
Hi Boys!
Visualization for this week: Today, I am waking up early to a beautiful blanket of snow covering everything outside. It looks so pretty and peaceful. I am preparing breakfast for the dogs, and as daylight breaks, I take them into the backyard to enjoy the snow. We are running together, their excitement contagious. I find a toy and throw it, watching them chase after it with pure joy. It feels wonderful sharing these happy moments with them and sharing this special time together.
